OUR NEW PETS

My brother Ryan and I have some new pets! We will be blogging about them for a while so you get to listen to us instead of our mom's nature study. We have made some observations about our new pets and we would like to share them with you. First, we should tell you what our new pets are. We have four baby chicks and two baby ducks. The first thing we noticed was that they all like tin foil. We also noticed that they do this a lot PEEP PEEP PEEP PEEP PEEP PEEP! The ducks like to swim in their water dish which really isn't big enough to swim in. Today the chickens took the top off their feed bowl with some help from our four year old brother Matthew.

Change of Plans

I have decided to hand this blog over to my two oldest sons. I thought this would be one way to get them to write without complaining. We shall see how it goes. So you will now be hearing all of our learning adventures through the eyes of an 11 year old and an 8 year old. This should be interesting.

Welcome to Our Blog

This blog is a work in progress. I am in the process of planning a nature study for my three children. This blog will track our progress as we learn about all of Gods amazing creation. Right now we have about a foot of snow on the ground, but I am determined to get an early start and have some planning done (and this blog set up) before spring arrives. We will be visiting various parks and programs to soak in everything that we can! I hope that you will check back and see how we are progressing. Please feel free to leave comments or suggestions.
